Book Recommendation

One thing I love about summer is that I have time to actually read fiction. Early in the summer I was busy reading baby books, but that got old real fast. I finally moved over to fiction a week or two ago and I've been on a roll. My friend Monica recommended the Redemption series by Karen Kingsbury and Gary Smalley.

Because Monica already owned them, I took her up on it and I have to say that I'm hooked. I've read the first two in a week's time. The series is based around the Baxter family and the struggles of life that each of its members goes through. There are love stories, heartaches, and suspense...all which make for a great story line. I don't want to give any of it away but I highly recommend them if you are looking for an easy read. Sadly Monica is out of town and I need book #3. I'm hoping that I can finish them before Owen comes because I doubt I will really have time to read at that point. Come home Monica! :)

I do have to say this is the best series I have ever read... but you must know that this series leads into 2 additional series of books -- The First Born Series and the Sunrise Series -- both have 5 books. Hope you have LOTS of time to read before Owen gets here!! They are definitely ones you cannot put down! I love her writing!

Shannon - Beware: These books are like crack. Jeremy thought the Facebook addiction was bad, wait until you really get into these books and start spending all of your time reading them. Plus, you probably ought to go ahead and have them all at your disposal so you don't suffer from withdrawals when one finishes. I have done series 1 and 2, and am anxiously waiting finding book #2 of the 3rd series at the library. It's always out, even in large print. Go figure.

Enjoy them while you can! They're definitely feel-good, cry yours eyes out kind of fluff, but oh-so-good.

Also, tell Jeremy I am trying to keep up the sarcasm level, now that he's gone. Also, we will have a new photographer in a few weeks that I'll need prank ideas for. Thanks, too, for the congrats on Adrian and I :) I like it!
