Another year older

Today marked 26 years. Wow 26 just sounds older! I'm in my upper 20s now! What in the world!!??

Overall it was a great day though. I received many phone calls, text messages, facebook messages, and cards all wishing me a great day. The kids at school were excited about my birthday but it didn't keep them from being good for me. They were sweet though and threw me a "surprise" party. They can't keep surprise so I knew it was going to happen. Here a few pictures from the festivities.

I also received lots of candy and a Starbucks gift card, which was great.

Because it was my birthday, I refused to stay late at work or bring any work home. When I got home Jeremy was waiting for me, anxious for me to open my gift. I really think it was more excited about me opening it then I was. He did awesome though! He gave me this goregous jewerly box with 2 necklaces, 2 pair of earrings, and a bracelet in it. I was impressed! (Sorry I forgot to take a picture) After present opening we went out to dinner, where we stuffed ourself silly at the Cheesecake Factory. Pumpkin cheesecake=yummy!

So another birthday has come and gone. I look forward to seeing what will happen in my 26th year of life...it will definitely be interesting as we look forward to the next step of our lives after seminary...maybe a house...maybe a baby..:)
