Merry Christmas

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end, on the throne of David and over his kingdom, to establish it and to uphold it with justice and with righteousness from this time forth and forevermore. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this. Isaiah 9:6-7

Our prayer is that this season you would remember the true meaning of Christmas and rejoice in the fact that God humbled himself to save us. Merry Christmas!

This was our Christmas card this year. Because we have seen how much paper is wasted by throwing away Christmas cards in the past, we decided to send out electronic cards this year. I know this is probably not socially acceptable but we are in the technology age so why not! Plus, I have actually have people's email addresses rather than their mailing addresses and it's free to send this. :) Thanks to Lance Michels for taking the picture for us!

I felt very loved today as my kids brought me many yummy goodies and fun gift cards. Also my most troublesome student gave me a present by NOT showing up today. Our day was pretty low key and fun! Merry Christmas everyone...I'm on break until the new year. (Have no fear, I will post again before the new year. :)
