Owen is now 2 weeks old! We went to the pediatrician on Monday morning for his checkup and the doctor said he was perfect! (But we already knew that!) He is now weighing in at 8 lbs. 14 oz.! He gained 10 oz in a week! He has gotten a half inch taller and his head has gotten 1 1/2 cm bigger.
I asked the doctor about the reflux and again he didn't seemed concerned. Probably b/c Owen had gained so much weight. He said he was doing great and he wouldn't change anything about him. We'll go back to this doctor one more time for his 1 month checkup before we move.
He also had his first major blowout today and had to have all new clothes. In the process of cleaning him up, he peed on himself, shooting himself in the face. He also then peed all over the nurse and the scale while getting weighed. :) I think he's getting enough milk, don't you?
Also this is our first week at home all by ourselves. We were very blessed to have both grandmothers come stay with us for a week at a time. They were a tremendous help and I was nervous about them leaving...I even cried when they left. We are doing well on our own though. I am a little restricted as to what I can do with this lovely black boot on, but we've learned to bring everything downstairs in the morning. I really need to be packing but not really sure where to start.
Speaking of moving, we are two weeks away! Our walk through is set for 9 am following by closing at 10 on Oct. 31st! We are planning to pack up the truck Friday (31st) and Saturday (1st) if you are able to help. Just leave a comment or send me an email. We could use all the help we could get!

We'll keep you guys in our prayers with the upcoming move.
He's so adorable!
I would love to help but I'll be out of the country during your move.
When Ethan was born my mom stayed with us for over a week - when she left I cried (hard). And, she stayed with us about 6 weeks after the twins were born - and everytime she left (even to go to the grocery) I cried! I was convinced I could NEVER do it alone. But, I have made it, by the grace of God. And, you will too. I can tell by your words here that you are and are going to continue to be a fantastic mom. Many blessing - Shannon
