My friend Byerly is pregnant as well and she saw my burp cloths and I asked if I could make some UNC ones for her and her husband because he is a fellow alum as well. We went to Walmart yesterday and they had changed the fabric from white to blue but here are her burp cloths.

I have an sewing addiction
I had loads of UNC fabric left over from a previous project so I've been trying to come up with fun projects to use it up. Today's project was an infant bib. This bib is lined with fleece and plastic on the inside to hopefully keep our sons clothes as clean as possible. (Try is the key word here). Because Little Cox will be born right in the middle of football season (right at the Notre Dame game to be exact..my dad reminds me all the time) so he needs some game day apparrel. Here's the finish project. Disclaimer: I am in no way a perfectionist when it comes to sewing so don't look too closely to see the imperfections...esp. by the neck. These have all been first attempts so I think the next time around they will be much better.

I'm out of projects now. I really need to take a break before I get burned out. It's happen before when I was sewing purses one summer. Thanks for all your fun comments about my stuff. :)

couple of questions for ya: 1) for the bib what do you suggest is the best lining that will not get "saugy" when it gets wet with food or spit up. I tried one already and it didnt seem like i chose the right interfacing :) 2) are your burp clothes flannel on both sides? and do you have any interfacing in those?
Good work yet again! I am trying both of these projects this weekend.. or at least i hope :)
Oh my goodness, I LOVE those baby booties and that nursing apron. You are awesome!!!
